Extra Credit 3rd Quarter
Creative Extra Credit Assignment
Points: Extra 100 pt assignment (only to benefit, not to hurt)
Using your 3rd Quarter SSR book, create one of the following using your SSR book as inspiration:
1. Create EITHER:
· 8x10 photo with artist statement
· recorded piece of music with artist statement
· drawing, painting, or sculpture with artist statement
2. Write EITHER (2-3 pages):
· rewrite a chapter of your book from another character’s point of view
· create an alternate ending
· literary criticism (needs clear thesis statement)
o examples: feminist theory, queer theory, psychoanalytical perspective
